Nintendo shared all the details that fans were curious about regarding its new music platform. In its announcement, the company emphasized that songs can be heard on the “user’s smart device.” This indicates that the service will be available not only on smartphones but also on other platforms.
Currently, anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can access this service. Users will be able to stream or download music from the company’s games. Additionally, you can create and share playlists and search for music by category.
The Nintendo Music platform will feature tracks from various games such as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Metroid, and Animal Crossing. Music from games of current and past generations will also be available for listening.
The platform includes functionalities similar to other streaming services, such as track recommendations for users. You can also choose whether or not to hide songs that provide a kind of spoiler for the game. Furthermore, there is an option to extend the playback of tracks for up to 60 minutes without interruption.
